This project is quick and simple for teens. It also makes a great slumber party activity for teens. You don't need a tutorial- it is very self-explanatory. Just follow the simple instructions below while looking at our sample pieces. We used blue Swarovski and clear crystals with a mix of other crystals to make the hook-style earrings.

To make the larger crystals, we used a longer pinhead, cut off the flat end, strung the bead, and crimped the end. Then, we added blue and clear crystals and crimped them to the fishhook.

For the second pair of earrings, we used the 2" brass head pin and loaded on the Swarovski clear crystal, added a blue moon bead, and repeated with another clear crystal. Then, we followed with another blue moon bead, a couple of seed beads and one last blue moon bead before crimping the fishhook.

The earrings were all completed in less than 30 minutes. Use any leftover beads to make matching bracelets.

Use your white polish to paint the first layer (this helps the polish stick a little better and also makes the colors pop).

Let the white polish dry; we hung ours on shirt hangers to dry (this step will only take a few minutes. We painted all of the bangles white and by the time we were finished with them, the first ones were already dry).

Get started with your colors!! You can also use tape for this
step to do different designs if you want. We were able to make a straight enough line on colorblocked ones without tape. You may want to apply a second coat and don’t forget the edges. Use other colors to make polka dots, stripes, and other designs. Be creative!! Have fun!

Let bangles dry completely.

Apply clear coat (this helps keep color from chipping) Let clear coat dry. Wear and enjoy your adorable new bangles!!!
